WELCOME TO CBY

Congregation Beth Yeshua (CBY) of Philadelphia is a part of a spontaneous growing worldwide movement known as Messianic Judaism. Messianic Jews believe that Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Jewish Messiah whose death fulfills Hebrew scripture in providing a permanent kipporah (atonement) for sinWhen you visit Beth Yeshua you will experience a community of like-minded Jews and Gentiles alike who can worship the G-d of Israel in a Jewish environment, celebrating the Jewish holidays and festivals in a meaningful way and raising their children in a Messianic Jewish lifestyle.

A typical service at Beth Yeshua includes many Jewish diverse forms of worship to Adonai (G-d), expressing our love with all our heart, soul, and strength. They include traditional Jewish liturgy, a worship band who lead songs in Hebrew and English as well as what we call “Davidic Worship” which is a form of Israeli folk dance in a circle, like the hora.

Tithes & Offering

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NIV)
